March 5, 2012

I did get my package today; it was in our office, thanks so much for that. I would have gotten it a lot sooner but the assistants, which are basically the 2 top missionaries in the leadership of the mission, are (mad phrase) would not let me have it earlier this week, even though i was in the office Tuesday. But i got it now. My account's fine, just low, cause i had to buy a couple of things with it.

For my birthday, a good pair of shoes would be nice, see if you can find the brand Ekko, i think that’s how its spelled, but i need size 14. And maybe a bottle or 2 of mountain dew.  Other than that, whatever you wanna send.

My knee, they just gave me pain meds again, even though the doctor said something is wrong with it, i think they don’t wanna have to deal with it.

I hope Roger is doing all right, I’ll be praying for him.

We had changes today, me and my companion are staying together, the rest of the mission got changed pretty big. So this will be my 3rd change in this sector.

It’s cooled down a little bit, but not enough, it’s still a little hot here.

I don’t know what else to say for this week, but i love you all and hope that you all are doing good.
Love yall

Hey yall!

This week was kinda cool. We had zone conferences this week which means that our zone and 2 others all met up together and Elder Richards of the Seventy came and spoke to us. There was about 45 or so missionaries, and afterwards when we were eating lunch him and his wife came and sat at our table with me and 5 other elders, so it was really cool cause we could just ask him whatever doctrine questions we had.

We had a zone activity today, we played soccer and had a BBQ. I can’t believe changes are this Sunday, this change has flown by.

They didn’t deliver the mail this week, so i still don’t know if i got the package or not.

I think this week I’m going to go in and have my knee looked at by the mission doctor, the one i hurt playing football. It’s starting to hurt a lot more now. I’m guessing it has something to do with all the walking i am doing.

The weather is starting to cool down, it’s really nice. My Spanish is coming along really well. I still make a lot of mistakes, but i can speak quickly and understand almost everything, if i was in a country like Columbia or Panama, I’d have no problem. They speak really clearly there; even Mexicans are easy to understand. My companion is harder to understand than most people that i talk to, but it really helps me learn to understand quicker.

If you all send me that DVD i can watch it. Happy birthday mom! And  Momo! That’s great to hear that Momo’s surprise party went so well. Do you think you could send me the recipe for vanilla cheesecake. I might try making it sometime.

That’s awesome that dad got to go steelhead fishing, i was talking about fishing with another elder the other day, it made me miss it.

I love you all

What’s up?

So this week was pretty normal, we now have 2 investigators with baptismal dates. We should be having one this Sunday, i hope it works out.

I finally found cheddar cheese here. It wasn’t easy. My Spanish is getting a lot better, I’m constantly having people tell me. My feet are really sore right now, I’m getting really tired of all the walking that we do.

So far in this ward we have been getting fed really well. I have heard in March it starts to cool down a little, i sure hope so. I think this month we are having a seventy come speak to our mission. Man i can’t wait for the winter. I’m assuming you forgot to write last night, it’s all good, cause i really don’t have much to write this week. Anyways, let me know what’s up next week.

Love you all,
Elder Allison
